8-hour EMT/RN Continuing Ed Class in SLT, CA

Wednesday 12/8/2021: 0830-1700

8 hours of game-based learning with EMS skills practice

Audience:

• EMT, EMT-A, EMT-P
• ED and EMS-RNs

Topics include:
~ Medical Issues (shock, childbirth, cardiac arrests, CO poisoning, overdoses, pediatric respiratory, anaphylaxis)
~ Traumatic Events (eye injuries, cold exposure, chest trauma, pelvic injury)
~ Vulnerable Populations (pediatrics, expectant mothers, and elderly)
~ EMT (Narcan, Epi, Glucometer) and PAT Skills Practice

(most topics/activities will be different from the recent ski patrol classes I put on)

Location: 1195 Rufus Allen Blvd in South Lake Tahoe, CA

Class is $80 and includes:

• 8-hr Cal EMS CE cert or 8-hr Nursing CEU cert
• Cal EMS skills sheet sign-off (if needed)

** BLS HCP Renewal can be completed after class, if needed, for an additional $20
